Tuttle FarmhouseTwo Condominiums priced at about $500,000 apiece 14 Gray Street, Amherst, MA
Tuttle Farmhouse, circa 1840s The Tuttle Farmhouse was built in Ware, Mass., in the 1840s, and moved to its first Amherst location on South East Street in 1940-41, by Miner Worthing Tuttle as the summer home and centerpiece to his 26-acre farm. Mr. Tuttle, a 1913 alumnus of Amherst College, bequeathed the farm to his alma matter as part of his estate. The Tuttle Farmhouse was relocated by Payne Construction Services for Hills House LLC to 14 Gray Street in April 2008. This 4200-square-foot house is actually two buildings: a Cape on the north ell and a gabled Greek Revival as the main house. This inspired us to take advantage of this historic quirk to remodel the Tuttle Farmhouse as two condominiums.
Tuttle Condo floor plans are now available, as well as details of the improvements made to the building. For information on Hills House LLC contact Jerry Guidera at jerry_guidera@hotmail.com. |
